Within that, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs around over 7,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 350 locations. This post will be within the Army Civilian People Team (ACPT) which sits at the heart of the Army's strategic Headquarters and will work in direct support of the civilian workforce that is recognised and respected by the Army for the value it brings. You will play a leading role in supporting Workforce Planning activity for all workforce types across the Army Top Level Budget as part of the integrated workforce planning team within the Personnel Directorate. Offering workforce planning technical expertise, you will be responsible for building organisational capability across the Army. Working closely with military and civilian stakeholders as part of the Strategic Workforce Planning branch, this will include addressing risks and exploiting opportunities to build an efficient, effective, and sustainable workforce using the right types to deliver the skills and capability required to achieve the Armys current and future objectives. Job description You will be a key member of the team working closely with business areas, HR professionals, Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) Branch, Civilian HR, Army Management and wider military leaders. Person specification Essential Strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience of engaging/partnering with senior leaders. Taking an evidence-based approach to decision making. Good data analysis skills and competent spreadsheet use, including analysis using pivot tables. Experience of collaborative working - building strong, influential, professional partnerships with a broad range of diverse stakeholders within a large and complex environment, across organisations. Strong people analytics capability, with confidence in managing and interrogating large datasets in Excel, and the ability to present data effectively in slides or dashboards.
