This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, as the Area Sales and Marketing Manager for our leisure facilities within the Arun district. We want to let everyone in the area know what fantastic facilities and activities the communities have, this is where you come in!
You will be working with the local teams to develop local marketing plans to drive participation, supporting all areas of the local community to get active. You will be responsible for consistently achieving sales targets through the motivation and ongoing training for all the site teams as well as designing, delivering and analysing marketing campaigns across our key business areas, which include swimming, gym and group exercise participation, soft play, racket sports, catering, retail lines and children’s activities, which includes parties.
You will be working closely with site teams to bring together engaging customer content, timely campaigns and results. You will be measured on the success of campaigns and ultimately the volume of new enquiries generated. You will need to identify your customer target markets and how best to market to them.
You’ll need to clearly show evidence and give examples of how you have implemented & successfully delivered marketing plans across multiple products & services. Hands-on experience of promoting products & services across digital and social channels is essential. You need to be confident in your own abilities, be decisive and work well within a team.

Requirements
1. Experience of managing a varied workload.
2. Working in Senior Sales and Marketing role
3. Staff management experience
4. The skill to establish key relationships swiftly and appropriately
5. An ability to feed into and translate into action the marketing strategy and objectives
6. IT skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel
7. Well developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade people both internally and externally
8. Team orientated approach, able to work across organization boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of colleagues
9. Mobility to travel across sites
10. Outgoing personality with a ‘can do’ attitude
