Job overview
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join Team Surgery! Our teams promote a family atmosphere, with a clear vision and direction for our staff, patients, and departments.
We have nursing vacancies on ward 1 for nurses with a passion for patient care, an interest in surgical patients, and a 'can do' attitude! In turn, we will provide you with a robust induction programme that exceeds your preceptorship. We are keen to teach you if you are willing to learn. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your nursing skills, including extended nursing practice in some areas.
Our dedicated preceptorship programme will ensure that you have a flying start, whether you are newly qualified or transferring from another area.
Main duties of the job
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients and families. In order to fulfil the job role and learning requirements, and meet service needs, successful candidates will be required to work a full rotation on both days and nights. If you are a dynamic, enthusiastic nurse with the ability to work well within a highly motivated team and can deliver high-quality nursing care, we would like to hear from you.

Investing in the health and wellbeing of our staff is really important to us. We offer a range of options for our staff to help maintain a good work-life balance including full-time, part-time hours, and bank hours. We are also committed to offering flexible working wherever we can and where relevant to the role and the service, agile working. You can select your preferences upon application.
