Your Role
As the Site Operations Manager, you will be at the helm of our Donnington Main Site. Your primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of performance, ensuring compliance with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Your Responsibilities
* Reporting directly to the General Manager Storage North, this role is responsible for managing Donnington Main Site as well as the Defence Distribution Centre, Longtown.
* Responsible for ensuring on time and in-full Service Delivery for the customer in accordance with agreed KPIs.
* Planning, reviewing and communicating operational requirements and changes across departments, so that KPIs and customer service levels are met.
* Manage Warehouse optimisation and stock maintenance activities.
* Deliver customer service excellence, productivity and cost effectiveness within Warehouse teams to achieve contractual performance levels.
* Ensure all Inbound and Outbound stock is received and issued in line with operational requirements by coordinating resources effectively and efficiently.
* Ensuring compliance of the operation to the Quality systems, industry standards and legal requirements.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Ideally, the candidate has operated within the Military/Defence and Commercial Sectors (not essential).
* Extensive management experience of operating within a commercial warehouse operation.
* Experienced in operating within multi-site logistics operations.
* Experience in managing employee relations and customer/trading relations.
* Exposure to operating within a commercial environment sufficient to develop effective customer service and commercial understanding.
* People management and line management experience.
* Excellent management, written and verbal communication, and influencing skills.
