The Penningtons Manches Cooper Insolvency team is a busy, dynamic and growing team which enjoys a great quality of interesting and high profile work. The team is forward thinking and innovative, and is always looking to improve and enhance its existing high standards of client service. The team is looking for a Paralegal to join them in the Oxford office. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking for excellent quality work in a supportive and collegiate team. The role will be a hybrid one, working within the Insolvency team, particularly in relation to its recoveries and County Court function, but also specifically supporting the Restructuring and Insolvency Team, specifically on both contentious and non-contentious matters. Communicating by email and telephone with clients and taking instructions Creating and maintaining spread sheets containing client data and instructions Undertaking document reviews and recording findings Assisting with general litigation and case management and the day to day running of matters In particular, working with the County Court system throughout the life of matters, and supporting the Firm’s recoveries function Supporting the Restructuring and Insolvency Team on both contentious and non-contentious matters Other ad hoc tasks required by the team The firm operates a hybrid agile working policy allowing employees to work from home (or another UK location) for up to 50% of their time.
