Job title: Quality Control Engineer

Salary: £35,770+ depending on skills and experience.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Lead materials inspection to guarantee compliance with strict Quality requirements.
2. Drive non-conformance resolutions and generate supplier performance data.
3. Approve Certificates of Conformity and authorise Quality Holds.
4. Ensure that all materials are right first time, meet the customer needs and support the business priorities.
5. Develop your Quality skillset in a leading defence company.
Your skills and experiences:
1. Strong knowledge of Maritime, Defence, or other highly regulated industries.
2. Expertise in ISO 9001/EN9100 and DEF STANS/AQAP 2105 & 2110 standards.
3. Skilled in Quality tools and techniques, with a relentless drive for excellence.
4. A right-first-time mindset, ensuring nothing but the best makes the cut.

As a Quality Control Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that every material fitted to British Warships meets the highest standards—because lives depend on it. Our Quality Control Team are on the front line ensuring that every material destined for supply to our customer is compliant and right first time.
You'll be part of an expert team delivering whole-ship support for some of the most advanced vessels in the world—from aircraft carriers to offshore patrol vessels. Our support spans engineering, maintenance, supply chain management, and defect rectification, ensuring our fleet is always mission-ready.
