Job Summary
Founded in 2012, Yellow Zebra Safaris is a multi-award-winning safari company based in Kingston-Upon-Thames, specialising in luxury safari holidays across 'Safari Africa'. We have been voted as Europe's Leading Safari Company at the World Travel Awards for ten years running. In early 2021 we merged with southern Africa's Wilderness Safaris, a company we've admired for years, although we are still independent and sell a full range of camps and lodges.
We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our fast-paced team initially for a 12 FTC to cover maternity leave but there may be the option of the role being made permanent.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the generating and sending of contracts and other paperwork. Keep on top of initial right to work checks and onboarding questions.
* Keep on top of legislation changes and update contracts and policies and procedures where necessary.
* Propose, and take ownership of first drafts of new policies and benefits.
* Take control of sponsorships and management of our licence.
* Liaise with the relevant Office Managers/Administrators to ensure they are aware of a New Starter so equipment can be ordered in time.
* Inputting new starters onto the HR CRM and ensure the payroll team are aware of the start. Send relevant new starter training courses to starters via Atlas.
* Keep personnel records up-to-date and maintain our online HR CRM.
* Assist with the switchover from People HR to HiBob.
* Liaise with our HR Manager to prepare letters, assist with HR processes (e.g. Parental Leave) and deal with any HR-related enquiries for YZ, Jacada or Wilderness Journeys.
* Process leavers and deactivate company profiles.
* Carry out exit interviews for leavers and ensure a smooth handover.
* Keep the company organisation charts up to date.
* Assist with the writing of job descriptions and general recruitment with a boost on promoting internally.
* Assist with admin related to Bupa memberships.
* Be the point of contact in HR Manager's absence.
* Assist the YZ Administrator with ad hoc tasks.
Experience:
* Positive, friendly and with a good sense of humour.
* Proven experience in an administrative role within a human resources environment is essential.
* Familiarity with HRIS systems.
* Strong data entry skills and attention to detail are required.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration across departments.
* Confidence and a polite manner for liaising with staff, suppliers and clients.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
* Ability to work alone under your own initiative, or as part of a team.

Pay: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
