Salary: £31,067 - £31,856 pro rata
Hours: 18 hours per week
Location: Kendal, Windermere and Kirkby Stephen
Contract: 3 month fixed term
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and/or working conditions of the role.
About this opportunity
The Extra Care Housing Service is part of People and provides domiciliary support to individuals in their own flats within purpose-built housing schemes. This is part of the wider Provider Services team.
This is an exciting time to join our team as we look to grow and expand the Extra Care Housing Service.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the delivery of care within the 3 services, working closely with the Senior, Supervisors, and the Registered Manager in planning, coordinating, and delivering a quality service to the people we support in Westmorland & Furness.
You will oversee the development of support plans and risk assessments with a focus on achieving outcomes, ensuring plans are followed and reviewed, maintaining accurate records (using appropriate ICT systems) to meet the needs of the people we support. You will also be required to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders and ensure health and safety requirements are met.
This role will include working across 3 services: Kendal, Windermere, and Kirkby Stephen. You will be required to travel, sometimes at short notice, visiting people within their own flats in the different schemes.
