Due to our continued work winning success, we currently have a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager with clean/dirty water project experience to be based in Northwich. Are you looking for a new challenge? are you an experienced Contracts Manager used to managing circa 50 million water contracts? You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from negotiation and execution to implementation and closeout. This role involves managing contract activities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and mitigating risks associated with contractual agreements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of contract management principles. Duties and Responsibilities Your experience will be gained from working within the water industry, both clean and/or waste, having a sound understanding of framework agreements, tender preparation and developing project proposals. Demonstrable knowledge of NEC3/4 and FIDIC contracts is a must. It is essential that you can work in a collaborative manner with internal and external project stakeholders, actively managing relationships and technical standards for large scale construction projects, ensuring efficient and accurate information flow between all project participants. You’ll also need to be able to work at pace. Our business moves quickly, and we need to keep up with the demand. Flexibility, agility, and resilience are key attributes for this role. Along with demonstrable delivery experience, additional skills and experience that would enhance your application would ideally include: The production of plans and estimating budgets and timescales Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts Managing construction schedules and budgets Overseeing final accounts at the end of a project Knowledge of water industry standards, regulations, and best practices in the UK.
