Candidate Profile
Reporting to the Head of Sales within the computing systems business unit, you will manage existing UK clients and focus on demand creation for rugged COTS-based rackmount & fanless computers, timing, and display products, with potential upselling into integrated 19” rack cabinets, consoles, and portable systems. You will sell to prime defence contractors and regulated industries like medical imaging, transportation, and marine.
You should have experience with complex sales cycles, dealing directly with OEM customers, engineers, product owners, and program managers in a consultative manner. Your skills should include identifying opportunities, upselling, negotiating, and closing deals, with extensive product and market knowledge.

The Role
This role involves:
1. Building strong relationships with UK customers, especially in the defence sector.
2. Responding promptly to inquiries and securing opportunities.
3. Providing technical, consultative solutions to meet customer needs.
4. Conducting online and face-to-face meetings and presentations.
5. Managing the sales process from qualification to closing.
6. Growing business within existing and target customers.
7. Attending networking events to identify future opportunities.
8. Preparing proposals.
9. Achieving or exceeding annual booking targets.
10. Complying with GDPR and quality standards.
11. Performing additional tasks as required by leadership, outside normal duties.
