About theRole:
We arelooking for a highly skilled and motivated Revenue Controller to join our teamat Haven. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the Owners Accounts,Income & Banking, and Loss Prevention teams. Your focus will be onutilising technology to enhance our revenue cycle processes, ensuring accuraterevenue recognition, and driving efficiency.
As aRevenue Controller, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financialstrategy and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closelywith senior finance colleagues to develop and maintain robust revenuerecognition policies, providing expert guidance on financial matters. This roledemands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks related torevenue processes.
You will beresponsible for leading initiatives to streamline our financial operations,leveraging technology to improve accuracy and efficiency. By collaborating withvarious departments, you will ensure that all business transactions areaccounted for correctly and in accordance with relevant standards. YourOpportunity:
In thisrole you will:
Oversee andmanage the technology and process aspects of our revenue cycle.
Develop andimplement revenue recognition policies in line with relevant accountingstandards.
Collaboratewith various departments including technology, marketing, legal, and finance toensure proper accounting for all revenue streams.
Leadinitiatives related to revenue-related technology trends and compliance withpayment industry standards.
Identifyand mitigate risks associated with revenue recognition.
Communicatecomplex revenue accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Develop andmentor teams to support park teams effectively.
Work withthe Finance Systems Manager to develop ERPX functionality for revenueprocesses.
What We’dLike You to Bring:
In-depthknowledge of revenue recognition standards such as IFRS 15.
Strongunderstanding of cost accounting principles and cash flow management.
Experiencewith audit processes and managing external auditors.
Ability tocollaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strongproblem-solving and strategic planning skills.
Basicproject management skills.
Provenleadership experience in financial management.
CertifiedManagement Accountant (CPA/CFS or CMA) preferred.
