Training and Qualifications
Essential Criteria
1. NCCQ - Accredited Clinical Coder
2. At least 5 GCSE's or equivalent educational qualifications
3. Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Clinical Coder with documented evidence of formal training and competency achievement or formal refresher training
Experience
Essential Criteria
1. Experience in Clinical Coding working in an NHS hospital setting
2. Ability to code accurately and to national coding guidelines with little or no supervision
Other Skills
Essential Criteria
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Ability to use own judgement to interpret & summarise relevant clinical terminology
3. Organisation/prioritisation of own day-to-day work requirements
4. Ability to work remotely
