ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage the overall operations of the store and staff to ensure Operational Excellence.
2. Plan and prepare work schedules and assign crew members to specific duties.
3. Ensure store staff are trained and competent in assigned areas, implementing correct procedures.
4. Direct compliance of crew with established company policies and procedures.
5. Address gaps/concerns identified through store audits.
6. Maintain appropriate staffing levels.
7. Provide leadership, coaching, development, and motivation to crew members.
8. Maintain appropriate stock levels through ordering, receiving, and rotation processes.
9. Ensure correct portioning standards are followed for all products and services.
10. Perform regular stock-take procedures and address variances.
11. Execute sales promotion activities and direct crew members for merchandise displays.
12. Manage controllable costs against set budgets for the store.
13. Monitor expenditure of all costs within the store, ensuring all budgets are adhered to.
14. Recruit and interview all General Crew and Cashiers in line with KAUAI recruitment processes and criteria, with assistance from HR.
15. Address complaints and resolve problems.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
1. Three years related experience and/or training.
2. Knowledge of Espresso Machines is advantageous.
3. Knowledge of food preparation and Food Hygiene Certification.
