The college want to take on an Assessor/Trainer- Carpentry/Construction to join their team. The primary purpose of this job role is to: Take overall responsibility for an agreed caseload of learners to provide high quality coaching, mentoring and training to learners to achieve their apprenticeship in a timely manner. Complete regular progress reviews, providing feedback to learners, employers and colleagues. Act as main point of contact for employers and learners, creating positive relationships with employers to support in the training and development of learners and, providing feedback on progress as required. Work with employers to establish activities and tasks that allows learners to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours. Assist in the development and recording of learners’ Knowledge, Skills and behaviours. Develop learners’ wider life skills through targeted training. To promote the college values and adhere to awarding body practices, ensuring best practice is applied at all times.
