In this role, you will be an integral part of the operations team, responsible for grading a variety of domestic appliances through visual inspection, identifying items suitable for repair and testing, and ensuring they are processed appropriately, along with driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle to support logistics operations.
Primarily centred around Waste Management, this business is expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key UK and Ireland sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.
Role Responsibilities:
This is mainly an outdoor role involving general site work, unloading trucks, and assessing appliances for acceptance - Handling, sorting, and evaluating electrical goods
Safely drive a 3.5T vehicle for collection and delivery of appliances, sometimes over long distances
Accurately record grading outcomes using internal systems
Operation of forklifts and other machinery.
What We Are Looking For?
Demonstrable experience in an 'Operative' environment including warehouse, general outdoors, etc.
Full UK Driver's License - Category B
Ability to work both individually and as part of a wider team with good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Ability to work in physically challenging role mostly based outdoors
