Our client in Godalming is looking for a Temporary Administrator to handle a variety of back-office tasks. It is crucial to recognise that these tasks are interrelated and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the main reception and carry out reception duties as required by the organisation.
2. Welcome and assist visitors.
3. Handle general enquiries via email and telephone.
4. Receive and direct deliveries/pallets to the appropriate person or store them as necessary.
5. Process purchase orders via phone or email.
6. Ensure purchase orders are passed on with accurate information and instructions.
7. Order locally supplied goods and verify that the full order is complete.
8. Maintain and update the sales tracker using MS Excel.
9. Organise and file both digital and paper documents correctly.
10. Pack items for dispatch and arrange courier bookings online.
11. Assist with daily, monthly, and annual physical stock management.
12. Support the packing, delivery arrangements, and record-keeping of demonstration devices requested by the sales team or distributors.
13. Respond to emails and telephone enquiries.
14. Manage price and stock availability enquiries.
15. Handle delivery update requests for products ordered via UPS.
