EFL TEACHERS FOR YOUNG LEARNERS AND VACATION COURSES
Anglo – Continental, one of Bournemouth’s leading English Language Schools, is inviting applications from qualified EFL teachers for our long established Young Learner courses.
Job Description
Our bustling summer centre is seeking dynamic and innovative EFL teachers for multi-lingual classes of 10 to 16 year olds.
The successful candidates will:
1. Teach between 20 and 30 x 45 minute lessons per week.
2. Follow an established curriculum.
3. Plan and deliver high quality, fun and engaging lessons.
4. Complete any necessary administration e.g. registers, weekly plans, student reports etc.
5. Assist in the placement testing and induction of new students.
6. Act according to accepted professional standards and comply with Anglo-Continental procedures and code of practice at all times.
7. Promote the wellbeing and safeguard the welfare of the students at all times.
Salary and Benefits
* Lesson rate dependent on qualifications and experience.
* A bespoke Young Learners’ curriculum and plentiful teaching resources and equipment are available and we provide regular teacher development sessions and support.
* Extremely pleasant campus near central Bournemouth with good transport links. There is a restaurant on site. (Please note this is a non-residential school and teachers are responsible for finding their own accommodation.)
Qualifications
* TEFL Qualification (UCLES CELTA or equivalent as minimum or UCLES DELTA or equivalent as preferred).
And
Level 6 qualification; bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
* Or for teaching Under 18s only:
PGCE in a relevant field (e.g. Secondary MFL or English LIT/LANG or Primary KS2/KS3)
* Experience and local knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
