Sales Engineer Account Manager - South
Commercial Forecourt Equipment
The UK’s leading supplier of German manufactured vehicle washing equipment, supplied to fuel retailers, supermarkets & commercial operators, which is backed up by a national service operation, are seeking a Sales Engineer for the South region.
THE ROLE
Home based and reporting to the Head of Sales & Managing Director, you will manage the Southern region representing the company, following up on leads, managing accounts to identify new equipment opportunities and identifying new potential clients.
Clients may include fuel retailers, bus & coach companies, HGV operators & vehicle retailers, etc.
As well as being a customer facing sales role, the company are seeking someone with a technical aptitude, as you will be required to undertake the surveying of sites to ensure that installations can be undertaken & correctly tendered.
The scope of Sales Engineer/Account Sales Manager role includes;
* Account management & new client development
* Build & maintain relationships with single site, multiple site & national companies tendering for new equipment, service and/or chemical products
* Develop accounts with a range of customers, negotiating and maintaining equipment supply and service agreements on a country wide basis
* Undertake site surveys for new & replacement equipment
* Propose, cost & present solutions to meet the customers requirement technically & financially
* Maintain knowledge of technical aspects of the company equipment
* Understand competitors’ equipment, service & pricing to gain a competitive advantage
* Implement marketing strategies which may include exhibitions, hospitality, advertising, etc
YOUR EXPERIENCE
* Southern England based (from Birmingham South)
* Proven record of selling B2B capital equipment
* Technical/engineering background
* CAD experience (advantage)
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong IT skills
* Happy to undertake travel across the South of England
* Full UK driving licence
REMUNERATION
* Circa £40k basic + Unlimited Bonus scheme (OTE of £60k+ unlimited)
* Monday to Friday 9-5:30
* Car/Car allowance
* Holiday 22 days plus public holidays (increased 1 day per year)
