Part-Time Gcse English Teacher (GCSE) – SEND Focus
Location: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire
Contract: Fixed Term until Nov 2025 (Potential to go Permanent)
Hours: 3 days per week (Flexible)
Pay: sliding scale of £120-£250 per day, dependant on experience

We’re looking for a dedicated professional to teach GCSE English Literature and Language to Year 10 and 11 students in a supportive and inclusive school setting. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on making a difference and believes every learner deserves the right support to succeed.

Your Role & Responsibilities
Teach engaging English lessons that inspire and support all learners.
Provide tailored interventions for students with additional needs.
Lead small intervention groups to boost confidence and attainment.
Work collaboratively with SEND specialists and pastoral staff.
Support students’ GCSE preparation, ensuring they feel confident and ready for exams.
Who We’re Looking For
️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or equivalent with a strong background in English.
️ Experience working with SEND learners, particularly those with ASD and ADHD.
️ A compassionate, flexible, and engaging teaching style.
️ A commitment to removing barriers to learning and helping students achieve their full potential.
