Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: From £95 per day
Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Crosby, Liverpool.
This role is ideal for someone committed to helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
As an SEN TA, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with additional learning needs.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Create an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters student engagement and confidence.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.
- Promote positive behaviour and support students in managing their emotions effectively.

Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
- A proactive approach with the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential).
Eligibility
- The right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the online update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Two professional references covering at least the last two years.
