Job Description: Secondary Tutor Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £25 - £30 per hour Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Job Duties: Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions to secondary school students Develop tailored lesson plans based on students' individual needs and learning styles Provide academic support in subjects such as Mathematics, English, Science, and Humanities Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Communicate with parents and teachers to ensure a collaborative approach to student learning Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience working with secondary school students Strong knowledge of the secondary school curriculum Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school setting Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners Strong organisational and time management skills Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience using technology in the classroom Working Conditions: Flexible working hours based on student needs, may require evening or weekend sessions.
