We are seeking a Commercial Finance Business Manager to be instrumental in the shaping of our Trade SMR channel. You will have full ownership of the customer profitability model and provide support across our cross-functional business teams in all aspects of the commercial. Key Responsibilities
1. Customer profit modeling and reporting including analytics and commentary. This includes product liaison, full analysis of profit breakdown together with the implications of any changes versus budget and/or forecast.
2. Proactively look for areas of opportunity to drive channel business performance.
3. Quantify, manage, and measure target areas of the business to support forecast and stretch targeting.
4. Work with the wider team to ensure reporting strategy and quality are robust and provide a consistent view.
5. Add insight and analysis to reporting, including exception reporting as required to aid management understanding of the channel performance.
6. Support the head of Channel in launching campaigns, actions, and initiatives in line with the business strategy.
Skills and Experience
1. Significant experience in commercial finance.
2. Experience analyzing sales and margin trends and using these to provide actionable commentary.
3. Experience being the conduit across multiple business areas.
4. Experience in product categorization and pricing liaison.
5. Experience evaluating customer margin and delivering improvement recommendations.
