Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) is an exciting, ambitious arts centre which offers a wide array of free exhibitions, theatre, music, cinema and comedy performances as well as creative learning and participation activities. We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join our team. The hours of work will be 37.5 per week and the rate of pay is £35,019 per annum.
This role will oversee the end-to-end employee life cycle and manage the HR & Business Coordinator who provides day-to-day operational and administrative HR support.
The postholder will report directly to the Director of Governance and HR, and support and lead the delivery of People initiatives; they will oversee employee relations, process improvements, employee development programmes and help to craft HR policies.
This is an exciting time to be joining the organisation as we begin delivery against our Strategic Plan for 2025 to 2028. Our existing workforce are the single most important asset to the success of MAC. This role will be critical in helping us deliver our ambition to be a workforce for the future, confirming our reputation as an organisation that people want to work for and ensuring that MAC's workforce are truly representative of the communities we serve.
