A great opportunity for a Market & Consumer Insights Manager to join a global skincare and wellness brand.
This senior position will influence the insights into consumer behaviour, brand perception, and market trends, leading to more informed decision-making and improving the effectiveness of marketing strategies for their brand.
* 6 Month Contract / Hybrid Working
Responsibilities
* Lead consumer research (qualitative and quantitative) to uncover meaningful insights
* Analyse consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitor data
* Deliver reports on campaign performance at regional and global levels
* Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
* Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment between brand positioning and consumer expectations
* Promote a culture of insight-led decision-making across teams
* Monitor and report on “Sell Out” brand performance in the market
* Build and update dashboards tracking KPIs and consumer sentiment
* Manage external insight suppliers and ad hoc studies
* Support key meetings (e.g., Business Reviews, Brand Planning)
* Conduct regular sales and market performance analysis
* Lead insight initiatives for skincare and wellness projects globally
* Act as a key contact for UK market analytics across three product categories
* Stay on top of industry trends and consumer shifts through field visits and market observation
Qualifications
* Strong background in Consumer Insights, Marketing, or Brand Management
* Experience in the beauty or retail industry, with a focus on skincare and wellness
* Skilled in tools such as Nielsen/Circana, Kantar, Power BI
* Proven track record of translating data into strategic recommendations
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior leadership
* Comfortable managing multiple projects/brands with attention to detail
* Works well in fast-paced, dynamic environments
* Fluent in English; other languages a bonus
* Proficient in Microsoft Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Highly organised, collaborative, and proactive
