Job Description
* You will utilise your knowledge to develop and implement assembly and in-process test processes and facilities to deliver the safety, quality delivery and cost objectives.
* Detailed planning, development and implementation of installation timing plans with key suppliers.
* Ensure robust process planning including build simulations and PFMEA’s.
* Assembly process & equipment verification at suppliers and at manufacturing facility
* Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
* Achieve equipment capability and availability targets.
* Support the resolution of technical issues where appropriate.
* Planning, developing and implementation of all written Processes for manufacturing and all tooling, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Previous experience of Manufacturing / Engineering processes, tools and techniques with a hands on approach to engineering.
* Experience of facility installation, project management, capability validation, commissioning and product launch.
* Ability to work within cross-functional teams and flexibility to support projects from early concepts to Launch.
* Ability to use CAD packages to review engineering drawings and models (Catia V6 & Teamcentre etc)
* Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing system
* Ability to problem solve technical and manufacturing issues.
