As a lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging, you will contribute to high quality learning and teaching, assessment and student support. We are recruiting a lecturer who is HCPC registered with evidence of continued professional development. We are seeking an individual who will enhance our reputation in delivery across our portfolio of pre and post registration programmes.
Applications are invited from experienced HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographers with prior experience of supporting Diagnostic Imaging student learning, teaching and assessment in higher education, and/or in practice settings. Evidence of Masters level study is essential. We recognise that applicants moving into higher education from other contexts (e.g., practice) may have limited direct experience of the requirements for the post. In such instances, they must outline their experience, skills and achievements in such a way as to demonstrate they meet the essential criteria. The Department of Podiatry and Radiography promotes innovation in learning and teaching, and therefore, individuals with experience of e-learning and online environments and those with a higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE are particularly desirable.
If you wish to know more about this role, or for an informal discussion, please feel free to contact Dr Diane Dickson, Head of Department at Diane.Dickson@gcu.ac.uk.

The University offers a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development, family friendly policies, cycle to work scheme and onsite childcare facilities.
Please note that the appointment will be made on the first point of the salary scale (unless by exception).
