An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 92 Parking Attendants to join our On Street Enforcement team on a permanent basis.

Position Details
Reporting to the Senior Parking Attendants/Enforcement Supervisors, you will be responsible for patrolling beats on foot, identifying infringements to legislation/regulations and issuing penalty charge notices, authorising vehicle removals and dealing with enquiries and complaints from members of the public.
This can be a challenging position which requires effective communication and organisational skills and the ability to deal with confrontational situations whilst remaining calm and polite under pressure.
Applicants must be physically fit and capable of walking long distances. You must the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Basic literacy skills and basic keyboard skills are essential, and you should be familiar with smartphone usage and application and the ability to complete paperwork/reports associated with parking appeals or Health & Safety incidents. A NAT5 level or equivalent qualification including English, and a current driving licence are desirable.

It is anticipated that interviews will take place from week commencing 14 April .
Contract Details
Whilst the positions advertised are for full time hours which involves evening and weekend working, we would welcome applications from candidates who may only be able to work part-time hours. If selected for interview, we can discuss this with you in more detail.
Weekly Hours: 35 hours
Work Pattern: 5 days over 7, with shifts in operation between 7:30am and 10pm
Annual Salary: £24,.81 - £25,.37 on an incremental scale
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts a non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH) payment of £3, and a working context & demand (WCD) payment of £1,.
