JOB TITLE: Social Media & Content Executive
LOCATION: Ideally Cardiff (Cardiff store as the primary workplace, with flexibility to work from home and visit HQ in Bristol a few times a month) -We can also potentially have this role in Leeds.
REPORTS TO: Chief Experience Officer
SALARY: £28-32k (Depending on experience)
OBJECTIVE
At MyCookieDough, the Social Media & Content Executive will play a key role in managing our social media platforms, creating high-quality content, and engaging with audiences on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This role also involves building and managing influencer partnerships, coordinating content shoots, and supporting UK and international store openings with strategic, impactful content.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Management
1. Manage and grow social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
2. Regularly post engaging content on TikTok and Instagram, including Reels, Stories, and creative video content.
3. Identify emerging social trends and create content that reacts quickly to these trends.
4. Actively engage with the community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering strong relationships with followers.
5. Monitor social media performance, analyse trends, and adapt strategies to enhance engagement and drive growth.
6. Work closely with franchise partners to guide their social media strategies, ensuring alignment with MyCookieDough’s social media guidelines and maintaining consistency across platforms.
Influencer Partnerships
1. Build and manage relationships with influencers who align with the MyCookieDough brand.
2. Coordinate influencer campaigns, including gifting and collaboration initiatives.
3. Arrange on-site visits for influencers to generate engaging, authentic content.
4. Track influencer engagement metrics to measure campaign success.
Content Creation
1. Plan, create, and edit Reels, Stories, and other creative video content that converts customers and aligns with the MyCookieDough brand.
2. Execute content shoots for new product launches, campaigns, and events.
3. Produce animations and videos for POS screens, video signage, and social platforms.
4. Capture high-quality content using Canon EOS R6 DSLR cameras and mobile devices.
5. Edit visuals and videos using Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
Content Management
1. Manage and maintain a content bank to ensure a steady flow of fresh, high-quality visuals for stores and campaigns.
2. Review and sign off on all content to ensure quality and consistency.
3. Liaise with franchise partners globally to ensure their content aligns with MyCookieDough’s brand standards and meets quality expectations.
Event Support & Travel
1. Attend UK-wide and international store openings to capture on-site content, create real-time social updates, and engage customers online.
2. Coordinate content strategies for key events, store openings, and product launches.
Performance Analysis
1. Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics to optimise strategies and report on success.
2. Track the success of influencer campaigns and adjust strategies based on engagement data.
PERSON SPECIFICATION

6. Experience with DSLR cameras (Canon EOS R6 preferred) and mobile content creation.
7. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom) or similar software for video and photo editing.
8. Strong video editing skills, including the creation of Reels, animations, and other creative video content.
9. Experience managing influencer partnerships and coordinating collaborations.
10. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a content bank and ensure alignment with brand needs.
11. Willing and able to travel across the UK and internationally for store openings and content shoots.
12. Proactive, independent worker who collaborates effectively with teams.
