Two of the areas cater for older people living with Dementia and one is a short-term placement area for people who have experienced a mental health episode and need to be reintegrated back into the community. About the Role: As a Registered Manager, you will: Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of care professionals, setting clear objectives and standards to ensure exceptional service delivery. You will be responsible for overseeing care for older people with dementia and providing short-term respite care, ensuring that all residents receive compassionate and personalised care. Innovate and Improve: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operations, performance, and efficiency within your service area. You will regularly analyse management and financial information to identify areas for improvement and scope out projects that will drive positive change. Budget Management: Oversee medium to large-sized budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively to achieve our goals. You will manage these budgets with an eye for detail, balancing the need for high-quality care with financial sustainability. Mentor and Develop: Identify training and development needs, coaching your team to reach their full potential. You will motivate and support your staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term service planning, making formal proposals to support the delivery of responsive and effective services. You will anticipate and respond to changes that impact service delivery, ensuring that our care home remains at the forefront of best practices in dementia and respite care. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience. Experience: Proven track record in managing budgets, leading teams in a residential care setting (ideally focussed on Dementia care), and resolving complex issues. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of relevant work practices and council policies.
