We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast. In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward-thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do. With our proven success, it is necessary to expand our team to ensure the services we offer continue to make a difference within our Salesforce environment.
We have an opportunity within our Technology team to join them as a Salesforce Developer.
You will be involved in the development and customisation of Salesforce including extensions, configurations, and integrations. Hands-on experience must include work on LWC, AURA, APEX, APIs, Sharing Settings, DevOps deployments in Salesforce, Salesforce Flows and Triggers.
This is a full-time, permanent position, that will be based at our TDS office in Hemel Hempstead. This position will follow our hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
* Build Salesforce applications using LWC, AURA, APEX, API, Sharing Settings, DevOps deployments in Salesforce, Salesforce Flows, and Triggers. Leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company's programs.
* Develop highly interactive UI in Salesforce Communities using Visualforce and Lightning Components.
* Optimisation of an existing code base and perform configuration and customisation of the Salesforce Service Cloud and Communities platform.
* Perform integration including outbound messaging, Salesforce connectors, streaming and batch services, develop custom applications using Salesforce and integrating Salesforce with other systems.
* Create/modify existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggers across all platforms.
* Implement and maintain Salesforce customisations such as custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, process builder, and validation rules.
* Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.
To be considered for this opportunity you must:
* Have strong hands-on coding experience for LWC & APEX.
* Have strong coding experience.
* Proven working knowledge of declarative tools like Process Builder and Flow.
* Ideally have Salesforce certifications e.g. App Builder, Platform Dev I, II.
* Show strong interpersonal skills (communication, problem solving, decision making, listening and team working).
