The role will be in an expanding constructionpany in a team which runs the development side of the business rather than the construction site. Thispany is in Belfast. They are growing and have new opportunities, resulting in the need to grow the team, so it is an extremely exciting time to join. This role will be temporary with potentially the opportunity of permanent placement after four months. This role is four days in the office and one day working from home.
Your new role
This is a key role within the accounts team reporting to the Financial Controller.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Update cash flow information
2. Balance Sheet reconciliations
3. Management Accounts to Trial Balance across multiple Grouppanies
4. Weekly/Monthly Payroll
5. VAT, Payroll & CIS
6. Produce Monthly VAT Returns
7. Produce CIS Monthly Returns
8. HR Administration & record keeping
9. Bank Payments and Credit Control
10. Produce CIS Monthly Returns
11. Handling invoices
12. Liaising with banks around drawdown requests
13. Assisting with month-end procedures
14. Weekly and monthly financial KPI reporting
15. Liaison with IT and utility providers
16. Support preparation of financial accounts
17. General administrative tasks & relevant ad hoc duties as required
18. Managing sales and purchase ledger activities
19. Office Contracts management
20. Conducting bank & credit card reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
21. Over 2 years recent experience within a Bookkeeping/Office Manager role
22. Experience within engineering or construction would be desirable.
23. Preferably IATI Qualified/ Part-Qualified Accountant or operating at this level
24. Experience in accounts packages Xero
25. Experience in dealing with subcontractors & CIS reporting (desirable)
26. Excellent administration & organisational skills
