FIS’ Capital Markets segment serves investment banks, investment managers, securities and trading firms, corporations and insurance companies, and more. Our solutions provide for the full transaction processing lifecycle, risk management and compliance across multiple asset classes and lending structures. Spanning both the Sell and Buy side of the financial services industry, we enable our solutions through our managed and professional services offerings
FIS’ Capital Markets Services offers a full range of consulting, professional and managed services with a global reach. Our offerings range from standardized services to helping existing customers maximize their experience with FIS solutions to ad hoc services such as project management, business consulting and custom application development.
What you will be doing
As a Senior Manager within for our EMEA Cleared Derivatives and Post-Trade Professional Services business, you will lead a talented team of professionals implementing solutions with our clients. Key responsibilities include:
• Lead Cleared Derivatives and Post-trade business consulting team and strategy to effectively execute business plan.
• Devise and/or modify processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies with client scopings and other consulting engagements.
• Manage professional services employees to ensure projects are successfully completed. Schedule resources to meet project requirements and develop staff to achieve above average performance.
• Develop consulting offerings to address opportunities.
• Work with key FIS channel relationships such as sales, relationship management, product management, business unit management and others ensuring continued collaboration to drive results for Practice.
• Ensure Practice provides industry thought leadership.
• Work with consulting management team, program/project managers and client relationship managers to identify type of business resources needed. Assembles teams qualified to perform work and financially aligned with project budget and schedule plans. May work closely with program/project manager during project initiation to define scope and understand type, quantity and timing of resources needed.
• Responsible for forecasting and managing/communicating business metrics to senior management.
• Ensure generated revenue meets or exceeds plan for FIS Consulting Services Business.
• Ensure consulting engagements provide excellent client satisfaction and client loyalty.
• Manage consulting personnel including engagement staffing, staff performance/evaluations, effective communication, career planning and succession planning.
• Provide resources with right expertise to meet business needs and manage external relationships creating a flexible staffing alternative for peak demand times.
• Ensure effective utilization of resources on billable projects, asset development, sales support and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with other Consulting Practice Managers to ensure right resources are working on right work to optimize goals for the entire division based on priorities and demand generated.
• Attract and retain talent to meet business needs for practice.
• Nurture relationships, defines consulting engagements to support relationship needs and sells the initiative.
• Willing to travel 30% (or as needed).
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

• Broad knowledge of Cleared Derivatives and Post-trade processing, regulatory requirements, financial institution operations, and risk management as well as extensive experience of working, and leading teams, in an IT Consulting/Professional Services business
