Safety, Health and Environment Business Partner (SHE BP) BSW Group is the largest timber and forestry business in the UK, with operating divisions spanning the whole supply chain, from tree nurseries and woodland management to sawmilling and pallets. We are looking to recruit a Safety, Health and Enviroment Business Partner to work across multiple sites as part of the senior leadership team, who has experience working in a similair role and is ready for their next challenge to make a difference in a busy manufacturing enviroment. Main responsibilities: Actively work with the site management teams to support in all aspects of health and safety. Implement health and safety, environmental requirements, ensuring the company are legally compliant. Monitor all things health and safety, including carrying out audits. Ensure all accidents and incidents are investigated in line with company procedures to establish root cause and identify preventative control measures. Manage the reporting of RIDDOR accidents. Track and report accident and incidents. Develop policies and procedures. Develop and lead safety awareness across multiple sites, through toolbox talks and other communication methods. We are looking for someone who has: Minimum 3 years experience in a similair role. Minimum 3 years experience working in a manufacturing enviroment. NEBOSH General Certificate. ISO 9001, 14001 AND 45001 auditing experience is advantagous. Excellent person management and relationship skills. Comprehensive understanding od Health and Safety legislative requirements. Strong written and verbal communication. The ability to promote a positive SHE culture. A ”can do” attitude. Strong awareness of Health and Safety. Excellent attention to detail.
