This is an ideal position for people who are looking to build experience as a teacher. Although the role does not require higher education certification strong transferrable skills are essential.Positions that often have good transferrable skills
* Under 11's to Under 16's sports coach
* Scouts Leader/Cadets Leader
* Extra curricular and activity leaders for adolescents
* TEFL/ESOL Teacher
* Teachers trained overseas
Day-to-day of the role:
* Stepping into various classrooms across East Grinstead to ensure continuity in learning during staff absences.
* Teaching a range of subjects and age groups, with each day presenting a new challenge.
* Engaging students and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Adapting to different classroom settings and school cultures.
* Implementing existing lesson plans and ensuring a smooth educational experience for students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a cover teacher or transferable skills.
* Maths and English GCSE
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Adaptability, reliability, and effective management skills for groups of young people.
* Strong ability to build rapport with young people and good interpersonal skills.
* A passion for education and a commitment to positively impacting student learning.
