Short Term (Holiday Cover) Front of House Receptionist Role | Leading Alternative Asset Manager | £17-£19 per hour | West End Are you an experienced Receptionist or Front-of-House professional looking for your next opportunity and available immediately? This is an exciting chance to join a leading alternative asset management firm in a key client-facing role on a short term basis to cover a holiday cover. Starting in mid March for a week, you will work on a shift pattern of 8:00am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:30pm, ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the firm’s reception and front-of-house services. Key Responsibilities: Providing a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, clients, and staff Managing switchboard, directing calls and handling messages efficiently Overseeing meeting room bookings, ensuring smooth scheduling and AV readiness Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries Maintaining a pristine and well-presented reception and office environment Offering refreshments to clients and guests to ensure they feel comfortable Coordinating catering and special requests for high-priority client and investor meetings Assisting the Office/Facilities Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the office Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in a reception or front-of-house role, ideally within a corporate environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional approach Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively A keen eye for detail and a proactive, team-oriented attitude Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing position and enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
