We are seeking a full-time Nursery Teaching Assistant to work in the nursery of a mainstream primary school in Bradford from April to July. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in the early learning journey of young children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the early years team in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
* Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Help develop children's social, communication, and motor skills
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to children who need additional help
* Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
* Assist with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor play, and personal care where necessary
* Encourage independence and confidence in young learners
Requirements:
* Experience working in an early years or nursery setting (preferred)
* Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
