An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and forward-thinking Occupational Therapy team who are passionate about the evolving role of the Occupational Therapist in the Acute Medical hospital setting.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work at Queens Hospital Burton in a supportive, dynamic, and friendly team - you will be offered exciting opportunities to support with the development of core Occupational Therapy skills. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wishes to support patients back to pre-admission levels through quality assessments and rehabilitation treatments. The role is pivotal to ensuring excellent quality care to our patients and therefore the post holder is able to influence and work as a member of the MDT to ensure a safe pathway for our patients. You will be required to contribute to a 7-day service.

Person Specification
Ability to Practise
* HCPC registered
* Degree in Occupational Therapy
* Previous experience working as Band 2 - Band 5 in Occupational Therapy
Experience
* Evidence of working as part of a team
* Evidence of working with patients/clients
* Evidence of hospital setting experience from experience or placements
* Evidence of working in a 7-day service
Skills
* Evidence of using Supervision to improve practice
* Evidence of clear Written and Verbal Communication skills
* Evidence of understanding of Occupational Therapy process
