Job title: Data Analyst (Part-Time, Job-Share and Full-Time) Location: Flexible but will involve travel to Farnborough Grade: G4 Hiring Manager: Anna Daventry Closing date: 5th September 2021 Advertising Internal Only The opportunity: We are currently looking for a highly motivated and passionate Data Analyst to lead the development and implementation of data analytics through the application of advanced statistical and analytical techniques. In this role, you will deliver data driven insights supporting achievement of business objectives. Key responsibilities: • Assesses demand of the organisation and identifies business requirements to support data initiatives. • Support data focused initiatives and implementations. • Communicate with business owners. • Collaborate with data stakeholders to understand and translate business requirement into data management initiatives to achieve business goals. • Perform data-related functions including: analysis, cleansing, mapping, and visualization. • Participate in leadership team meetings to provide specialist guidance, including proposing data / analytic strategies for cost savings / income optimization, and enable the implementation of policy, projects and change initiatives. Your skills and experience: • Ability to communicate clearly confidently verbally and in writing, and to present technical information in a concise and engaging way. • Strong maths and statistics capability with experience of original research and analysis. • Confidence and ability in analysing and transforming quantitative data. • Inquiring and questioning mindset. • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results. • Strong team player. • Excellent attention to detail. • Ability to prioritise work based on business requirements with good planning and organisation. • Data Analyst Apprenticeship preferable Further information: At Zurich we are proud of our culture.
