Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a part-time Teaching Assistant with general SEND experience for a 1-form entry primary school in the Essington area. This role includes working alongside the classroom Teacher to promote effective learning and engagement for pupils in both KS1 and KS2. This lovely school are looking for innovative individuals who are keen to take on new challenges in their SEN hub, which is attached to their main school. The hub consists of 8 children with 3 additional support staff, as well as the classroom teacher. Additional needs range from austism, dyslexia and learning difficulties, so prior experience working alongside these needs is essential. The school are looking a part-time teaching assistant to work mondays, tuesday and wednesdays every week on a 08:30 - 15:30 temporary contract until the end of this year. Candidates will be expected to provide general support to the class teacher in the management of the class – through small intervention groups and 1:1 sessions. This role is excellent for individuals wanting to build up their experience in SEND roles across various age ranges, and for those experienced practitioners hoping to gain a better work/life balance.
