We are seeking a skilled Administrator to oversee our operations, customer service, and staff.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the centre, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering excellent customer service.
Day-to-day needs of the Centre, include booking room hire, preparing rooms and refreshments where required, making sure clients fill in booking forms, keeping booking diary accurate and up to date, greeting people using the facilities.
Respond to any enquiries from clients, act as point of contact for any centre business.
Administrator will work within the existing administration systems, to support the running of the centre as an efficient, effective and legally compliant organisation. Ensure data management is compliant with GDPR legislation and best practice.
The administrator will work closely alongside the Board of Directors, and assist Directors with any work regarding centre’s finances, management, maintenance, health & safety procedures, risk assessments, fire safety procedures, and waste disposal procedures. Report any issues to trustees in a timely manner. Follow procedures for monitoring and responding to emergency alarms.
Experience and Knowledge:
Experience working in a busy office environment and dealing with the public.
Highly competent in Microsoft Office suite programmes and using social media platforms.
Have awareness of Health and Safety and GDPR compliance.

Prepared to occasionally work evenings or weekends.
Underpinning all of the above, the right candidate will be dedicated to older people’s wellbeing, and committed to ensuring that the community centre grows as a welcoming hub to the surrounding community.
Interviews will take place between 9.30am and 12,30pm, on the 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th of October .
Experience:
Public facing work: 2 years (preferred)
Develop and implement policies and procedures.: 2 years (preferred)
Office or Charity management or similar: 2 years (preferred)
