Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Audit Manager to join their team in either their Penrith or Carlisle office.

Audit Manager Job Overview
1. Oversee and manage a portfolio of audit clients across various industries.
2. Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
3. Review audit files and provide guidance to team members to ensure quality and compliance.
4. Act as the main point of contact for clients, offering technical advice and building strong professional relationships.
5. Support the development and training of junior auditors, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
6. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure audits meet professional standards.
7. Identify business development opportunities and contribute to client retention and growth strategies.
8. Work collaboratively with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
Audit Manager Job Requirements
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit.
2. ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent) required for the top salary banding.
3. Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements.
4. Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading audit teams.
Audit Manager Salary & Benefits
1. Competitive salary range: £35,000 - £80,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
2. Hybrid working options available (2-3 days remote working per week).
