Soltys Brewster Ecology is currently seeking to recruit an Ecologist to supplement our in-house team in Penarth, near Cardiff.
We are looking for an ecologist with a minimum of 12 months experience of ecological consultancy in the UK gained through fixed term or seasonal survey work.
For this position, experience of protected species survey work (including bats & reptiles) along with practical application of standard Phase I Habitat survey techniques is essential. The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of domestic wildlife legislation and experience of report writing.
The post involves both office and field work, generally in the South Wales area but with the possibility of working throughout the UK dependent on project requirements. You will therefore need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
