Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
* Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, addressing any payment-related queries promptly.
* Prepare and send out reminder letters and statements to clients.
* Negotiate payment plans and terms with clients when necessary.
* Work with the finance team to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records.
* Report on outstanding debts and provide insights to management.
* Assist in the implementation of credit control policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance-related role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
