About us
Dr Challoner's is a grammar school for boys with 1368 students, of which 452 are in our co-educational Sixth Form. We have a long history of providing superb education to our students and in 2024 Ofsted confirmed their 2019 judgement of Outstanding. All our support staff play a key role in enabling that to happen, by contributing to the forward thinking and innovative culture of the school.
In this role you will lead group sessions, using the Zones of Regulation framework; provide individualised support to students facing emotional and behavioural challenges; collaborate with teachers to integrate emotional regulations strategies into the classroom; and monitor student progress, communicating with parents and staff as appropriate.
About you
We are seeking someone with relevant experience working with children or adolescents in educational or therapeutic settings, a knowledge of social-emotional learning frameworks, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
