This individual will play a vital role as the first point of contact for any financial queries that come through to the team, alongside providing detailed communications of all payments. Job Title: Finance Assistant Location: Sevenoaks, Kent Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Salary: £24,255 What you will be doing: • Providing a detailed bordereaux of Payments to all suppliers• Assist in processing online electronic banking• Setting up and maintaining installment plans• Cheque production• Posting and allocating receipts• Provide help in recovery process & banking cheques• Accounts reconciliation• Maintaining Excel spreadsheet recording all debt recovery activity• Cheque cancellations• First point of contact for all payment queries• Identification and analysis of payment errors• Support the Claims function with any ad hoc responsibilities and projects as required What we’re looking for: • Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish effective working relationships• Attention to detail with high level of numeracy and literary competence• Demonstrated experience in both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft word • Experience with working to strict deadlines within a professional environment • Eagerness to work within a fast-paced environment • A critical thinker that will think outside the box on day-to-day tasks • Willingness to show that you are self sufficient within a working environment Why Acorn Insurance?
