Description Customer Service Advisor East Suffolk Council - Lowestoft NR32 1HH or Melton, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 1RT £23,500 - £25,979 per annum (Band 2-3) 37 hours per week Permanent East Suffolk Council is an exciting place to work, delivering essential local services and making a real difference to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk. We currently have opportunities to join East Suffolk Customer Service team as a Customer Service Advisor. Your role The successful candidate will be a part of a highly skilled and committed team of professionals delivering Customer Services for the Council, offering a first-class customer experience and maximising value for money. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent customer satisfaction ratings and resolving customer enquiries via multiple channels including: telephone, email, web-chat, social media, text message and face-to-face. You will deliver a wide range of Council services directly to the customer and seek to resolve enquiries at the first point of contact. You will also take advantage of opportunities to resolve multiple enquiries at the same time helping the realisation of efficiency gains and enhancing the customer experience. What you will need The post holder will have demonstrable work experience within a comparable customer service team and has an understanding of services delivered by East Suffolk Council. The candidate will have a confident, personable and customer focussed attitude and be computer literature and competent in the use of Microsoft word processing and database packages with the ability to become proficient in the use of other bespoke software packages.
