Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a leading social housing contractor in the London area that are looking for a brand new Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team on a flexible remote basis. This full-time position allows you to work from home five days a week, with occasional travel to the London-based office for meetings and site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for the projects.
Support senior quantity surveyors in managing project costs and tracking expenditure.
Help with the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and variations.
Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budget and time lines.
Attend site visits and meetings in London as required.Requirements:
A degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
some sort of repairs social housing experience.
Some experience or an internship in quantity surveying is desirable.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
Willingness to travel to the London office on occasion
