We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement manager looking to bring procurement innovation to Chesterfield Borough Council.
Working as part of a procurement team you’ll be an exceptional people manager, able to motivate, influence and drive procurement improvements throughout the council.
You will be a dynamic self-starter, highly capable of enhancing relationships with stakeholders to drive productive collaboration and effective forward planning to manage non-pay spend activity within the context of public procurement regulations.
The post-holder will be an integral part of the team working with budget holders and senior managers to develop innovative procurement strategies, for a diverse range of procurement categories, which identify efficiencies and directorate savings that bring quantifiable benefits back to the borough.

The role is full-time and offered on a graded pay scale with maximum potential earning of £47,754 per annum. However, there could be the opportunity to offer a supplement for the right candidate who demonstrates exceptional skills and experience.
