As a Residential Care Support Worker, you will provide essential care and guidance to children who have experienced trauma. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can develop life skills, build confidence, and move towards a brighter future.
What You Will Be Doing
* Support children in their daily routines, providing emotional and practical care.
* Help develop and implement care plans and risk assessments, celebrating progress.
* Foster trusting relationships with children, their families (where appropriate), and external agencies.
* Promote education, social development, and life skills, assisting with Individual Care Plans and Education Plans.
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and record-keeping in line with Ofsted regulations.
* Ensure the home is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, encouraging young people to participate in household tasks.
* Contribute to a positive, stable, and structured environment, helping young people reach their full potential.
* Sleep-in duties are required as part of the shift pattern.
What We Are Looking For
* A genuine passion for supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs.
* Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or willingness to complete).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Flexible with working 2-on-4-off shifts, including weekends, evenings, and sleep-ins.
