Hays are delighted to be working with an amazing charity based in Belfast City Centre to recruit for a Finance Officer for a 6 month contract.
Your new role
1. Monthly invoicing in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts on system.
3. Allocations of receipts / payments to correct accounts on system.
4. Managing queries within the department from both internal and external customers and clients.
5. Completion of the monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations.
6. Journal preparation and input to the financial systems.
7. Assisting the Senior Finance Officer with credit control across the organisation.
8. Assisting with preparation of departmental monthly reports.
What you'll need to succeed
A qualification in a business/accountancy equivalent to Accounting Technician (or above) AND one years’ experience working in a Finance function;
OR
Two years’ experience working in a finance function.
